„Enabled Voices“ is the final big celebration of ENABLING VOICES – a HipHop project for female refugees (conducted by monochrom / Clara Gallistl). Funded by the Austrian Chancellory, four refugee girls from Syria, Egypt and the Ukraine wrote a song about their new start as a young woman in a new society/culture. They bravely went to to studio and recorded „Schatzi, i hob di gern!“ – and landed a spot on Universal Music’s Sampler „feat. respect“. The final effort was so shoot a music video, further enabling their individual voices in front of a camera. The Video we’ll be presenting on October 14th at celeste is the proud product of four girls finding their voices and fighting for their place in the world.
The final party will collect money to keep this important and well received project going.
