ENABLING VOICES – a HipHop project for female refugees

„Enabled Voices“ is the final big celebration of ENABLING VOICES – a HipHop project for female refugees (conducted by monochrom / Clara Gallistl). Funded by the Austrian Chancellory, four refugee girls from Syria, Egypt and the Ukraine wrote a song about their new start as a young woman in a new society/culture. They bravely went to to studio and recorded „Schatzi, i hob di gern!“ – and landed a spot on Universal Music’s Sampler „feat. respect“. The final effort was so shoot a music video, further enabling their individual voices in front of a camera. The Video was presented on October 14th at celeste and is the proud product of four girls finding their voices and fighting for their place in the world.
